4 Takeaways from Climate Week NYC 2026

Climate Week is always a crowded conversation. What made this year particularly interesting was the growing focus on what it takes to move climate solutions from ideas and commitments into the real world.

Our CFO, Andria Weil, was in New York for last week, joining conversations across carbon markets, nature, finance, technology and climate action.

We came away thinking less about any single solution and more about the connections between them: how technology is reshaping energy demand, how adaptation can broaden the climate conversation, how capital can help move projects forward, and how an ecosystem approach can account for the many ways climate, nature and communities are connected.

For FFG, that last step is especially important. Building credible climate and nature projects means bringing together science, finance, local knowledge and the capacity to execute on the ground.

We’ve pulled together a few of the themes that stayed with us. And we’d love to hear from others who were at Climate Week: what conversation or idea are you taking home?
