Nature-based solutions for Sustainable Development

What do you think is the biggest wins in support of Tagar#nature based solutions from 2024?

🌱 Article 6.4’s Global Carbon Market Standards adopted at COP29
⚖️ International Court Enforces Environmental Rights
🇧🇷 Deforestation Reduction in the Amazon (read Julian Johnson account below on ranging fires in the Tagar#amazon for a nuance)
🇬🇷 Greece bans bottom trawling in marine protected areas (but Tagar#spain, Tagar#portugal and Tagar#france still permitting!)
🌊 The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea declares that nations must protect oceans from greenhouse gas emissions

Here are two major losses:
🛑 Failure to agree on a Global Plastic treaty to phase out
🛑 EU’s ‘delay’ in implementing the EU Deforestation Law
