Looking at only one KPI is not enough

Looking at only one KPI is not enough…

I’ve seen so many infographics on socials about carbon emissions.

Carbon emissions by country, per capita, and others…

But always looking at one KPI is not enough.

We need to see multiple KPIs to properly assess impact and responsibility.

What’s missing?
– Emissions per unit of GDP.
– Who contributed most over time? (Historical responsibility)
– Scope 3 emissions.
– Is it buildings, transport, agriculture, or heavy industry?
-….

We need a dashboard view, not a single number.

The more holistic the view, the better the solutions.
