Theย ecological footprintย is a measure of the environmental impact of an individual, community, organization, or country. It quantifies the demand placed on the Earth’s natural resources and ecosystems, expressed in terms of biologically productive land and water required to produce the goods consumed and to assimilate the waste generated.
