According to the Carbon Majors Project, just a handful of fossil fuel, coal, and cement producers are responsible for half of the world’s carbon emissions.
๐ง๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐:
๐ฅ Saudi Aramco alone contributed 4.4% of global COโe emissions. If it were a country, it would rank as the 4th largest emitter-right behind China, the U.S., and India.
๐ฅ 5 publicly traded oil giants- ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, BP, and TotalEnergies-together made up 5% of global fossil fuel emissions.
๐ฅ Coal and cement companies in Asia dominate a significant portion of the list, with CHN Energy and Coal India among the top emitters.
