I recently went through Module 1 of the High-Integrity Carbon Markets Toolkit developed by UNDP, and what stood out is how clearly it explains a complex system without dumbing it down. It’s genuinely accessible for beginners, while still grounded in real-world practice. 💡 🤓

This module is a simple, structured introduction to carbon markets what carbon credits are, how compliance and voluntary markets differ, and how credits are created, verified, and used. It’s designed to help people understand the basics before jumping into technical debates.

Carbon markets are not a shortcut to net zero. They are tools that can support climate action when used carefully, transparently, and alongside real emissions reductions.
