With a population of 11 million and a total area of 301km², Dhaka (North & South) – the capital of Bangladesh – is launching its Climate Action Plan (CAP) this week. This historic and critical move marks the city’s recognition of urgent climate action, especially in the face of extreme weather events affecting the area and its residents.
