Beginner’s Guide to Becoming a Greener and More Sustainable City

This booklet is a beginner’s guide on how to become a greener and more sustainable city. It is based on the advice and recommendations of urban planning experts from cities that have successfully transitioned to sustainability. It also includes the latest knowledge and expertise from environmental legislation specialists at the European Commission, as well as those involved in managing European funding opportunities for cities and EU knowledge-sharing networks and research.
