This requires sound and dynamic urban governance combined with integrated long-term planning to ensure sufficient land for sustainable growth as well as a convenient and high-quality living environment for Singaporeans. Singapore therefore works with various stakeholders on policies such as those geared towards public housing and an integrated transport network, while ensuring the incorporation of green spaces throughout the urban landscape. Ultimately, the goal is to create a pleasant environment in which all Singaporeans can work, live, and play.
