Call for Proposals: Indonesia — Waste Methane Mitigation and Circular Economy
The Climate and Clean Air Coalition has opened a 2026 call for proposals to support Indonesia in reducing methane emissions from the waste sector and strengthening circular economy solutions.
This project will support Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment / Environmental Protection Agency in improving municipal organic waste management, scaling methane capture and utilisation, strengthening MRV systems, improving landfill operations, reducing open burning, and developing sustainable financing models for organic waste management.

✅ Sustainable financing and incentive mechanisms
✅ 3–5 city pilots in Bali and Jakarta
✅ Co-benefit analysis for jobs, food security, health, and economic development
Eligible applicants include NGOs, IGOs, and other not-for-profit entities. For-profit entities may participate as stakeholders, co-funders, or end users.
